Automation in the mass production

For series production with high volume, it is important that production costs are kept as low as possible.

If in addition to the casting costs, labour costs for extensive pre- or post-machining were also to be taken into account, profitability may drop quickly. In such cases, maximum possible automation of the production process offers superb options to increase profitability again.

We at Wissler & Rademacher help our customers to assess the optimal degree of automation for their requirements, across the full production chain.

Within the casting process at Wissler & Rademacher, robot-assisted casting plants take care of automated extraction and forwarding of castings for removing the runner-scrap, necessary deburring and surface optimisation.

In addition to that, using our own special machines, we are also in a position to
execute downstream production steps (for example drilling or threading) fully
automatically and thus being particularly cost effective. Similarly, also in
the machining steps to follow, we at Wissler & Rademacher can be flexible
in catering to the wishes and requirements of our customers.

Our special machines also allow us to react quickly to changes in the product specification and - if necessary - to improve and optimise the process chain. This way, all our customers benefit continually from our technical capabilities and the state of the art expertise of our staff.

If the casting produced is a part of an assembly, it is often advisable to have the assembly done right in our factory. This way it is possible to achieve additional savings in the field of packaging and logistics.
